Personal background
Although from Yorkshire, and proud of it, I've also lived in Oxford, York and Newcastle before moving to London in 1987. Having now spent half of my life living in North West London I still love the fact that I am residing in one of the most creative and dynamic cities in the world with so much great film, music, art and diverse cuisine on offer.
Professional history, skills and experience
Following my love of art at school and further exploration at a local college in York I successfully pursued a Graphic Design degree in Newcastle before moving to London for my first job. Since then I have mastered my craft at the international publishers LexisNexis with 13 years in print design and a further 10 years in web design equipping me to provide total visual branding solutions for my own clients.
Other interests and skills
In the last few years I have become a qualified adult teacher via the Institute of Education. As a result I am ready to teach my subject specialism of print and web design. Outside of work I enjoy going to live music gigs, following football and tennis, organising country walks, photography and participating in my local church community.
